Military Appreciation Campaign

About the campaign

The Military Appreciation Campaign focuses on one of the most important things we can do as a community: saying, “thank you” to the military men and women who have served our country. The “MAC” mission is accomplished by conducting appreciation and commemoration events throughout the year at VA Hospitals, elderly and long-term care facilities, welcome home events and other select venues.

In order to provide those we pay tribute to with a lasting reminder and token of our appreciation we developed the “TASM Coin” which is intended to serve as a source of pride and remembrance.

Through our events and programs these coins are given (with a hearty hand shake) to active duty military service members, family members of deceased and fallen heroes, and military veterans as our way of saying ”Thanks for your service to our country”.

For those receiving the coin it is our hope that this medallion will serve as a symbol of our sincere appreciation and gratitude and will be considered a cherished keepsake.

Campaign mission

Our mission is to show our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the military men and women who have served our country.

We accomplish this goal by holding tribute events and commemoration ceremonies, encouraging community involvement and participation, collaborating with military focused not-for-profit groups, and shaking the hand of every veteran and active duty service member we can!

About the Commemorative Campaign Coin

The Military Appreciation Campaign Coin has been designed to express our pride and gratitude to our military service members, both active duty and veterans, for their dedication, courage, accomplishments, and sacrifices.

This collectible coin is proudly made to precise specifications and each coin is serial numbered. At almost 2″ in diameter and nearly twice as thick and heavy as a “silver dollar”, this coin is very substantial both in feel and size. Each collectible coin features a beautiful quality antique brass finish, and engraved along the side edge are the mottos for the U.S. Army and Marine Corps as well as core values for the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard;  “Service Before Self”, “Always Faithful”, “Honor, Courage, Commitment”, and “This We’ll Defend”. 

The exquisite detail on the front of the coin is second-to-none and proudly incorporated into the back of the coin are the seals from the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, US Marines, and the US Coast Guard.
