What we do for veterans and communities
Thank a Service Member (TASM) is an approved 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to working on behalf of America’s military veterans and active-duty service members. We create educational programs, support initiatives, and venues designed to show our appreciation and gratitude for their service and sacrifices.
Our campaigns are non-political and non-partisan, and there is never a charge for military veterans to attend or participate in our events or programs.

Thank a Service Member is a 100% volunteer organization based in Oswego, NY.
Our programs have directly reached thousands of military veterans and their families, and we also provide
connective services to help guide veterans towards programs that meet their needs.
Our all-volunteer staff is deeply committed to our mission, and 100% of the money received through our fund-raising campaigns goes to the charity and our programs.
